While the AU celebrated it as a step towards “Silencing the Guns,” many, including FANO supporters, view it as fraudulent, questioning its authenticity and the AU’s role in endorsing a deal without broader FANO buy-in, with some calling for the AU to cease negotiations with FANO due to perceived bias.
